Hacked Paper Radio

This foam core radio was a study for my arduino radio. I re-imagined what analog radio controls could be by hacking an alarm clock radio. I re-wired the radio's power and tuning controls with tilt sensors. This design was intended to be a fuzzy interaction. The user has to power the radio and achieve their desired volume by rotating the bricks. A unique sculpture-like form is created by initiating the radio and changing the volume. To enjoy the sculpture and to continue listening, the radio can be turn on its side.
